So excited to announce an in-person workshop I’m co-hosting with my wonderfully talented sister and artist, Neda Noorë on Saturday May 30th at 11am.

We’ll be blending mindfulness + watercolor + intuitive tracing in a relaxed, welcoming space at @composed_living in Woodland Hills.

Our goal is simple: bring people together to discover the wonder of the present moment through the creative process.

I help clients work through:

• chronic anxiety and looping thoughts
• codependent and people-pleasing patterns
• difficulty trusting yourself or your emotions
• burnout from over-functioning and holding it all together

I use Brainspotting and somatic therapy alongside talk therapy to help you heal on a deeper level and actually release what your system has been carrying.

Sessions are warm, collaborative, and attuned to your needs. We don’t force change, we listen to what your body is ready for and work from there.

🔸🔶🔸Hi, I’m Saba, a licensed therapist and an experienced thinker.

I know how powerful the mind can be and how quickly it can spiral, loop, and turn against you.

I’ve learned how to help people work with and shift their thoughts instead of getting lost in them through traditional talk therapy.

But I wanted to take it even deeper, so for the past two years, I got trained and certified in Brainspotting, a somatic therapy that helps people process and release trauma and emotional pain through the body and nervous system.

My work now is rooted in the belief that the body already knows what you need to heal, and therapy with me is about reconnecting with that innate knowledge we all carry. 🔶🔸🔶

We’ve grown up to believe that to feel accepted, we have to learn how to fit in to a group. We have to change and mold and hide parts of ourselves to get the sense of belonging. However, the more we do that, the more isolating and disconnecting it can feel. As people don’t really get to know who you are genuinely. When you can explore your true self and have the courage to share and express that with others, the more you will allow yourself to feel a true sense of belonging.

Sometimes we don’t have control over our automatic thoughts. These thoughts come from some ingrained core beliefs we might have about ourselves and the world.

We don’t have control over the thoughts that just pop into our mind, but we do have control over whether or not we want to believe it and how much weight we want it to carry.
We get to decide which thoughts we want to align with, and which ones we want to just notice and let go of.
